The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program that provides financial assistance to low-income Oklahoma households each year to help meet the cost of home energy.

Certified domestic violence and sexual assault program offering free services to all victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, teen dating violence and stalking. Services include safety planning, legal & medical advocacy, counseling, safe shelter, domestic violence education classes, employment and housing assistance, transportation and support groups. Domestic Violence Education Class every Wednesday at 2:00 pm and Thursday at 9:00am. Support Group every Tuesday night at 5:30pm.

The Day Center offers a free facility for laundry and showers, light meals and beverages, computer use, SORTS (Southern Oklahoma Rural Transportation Services) passes, limited clothing as needed, assistance obtaining IDs, and referrals or connections to other resources. Open Monday-Friday 8:30am-1:00pm.

Utility assistance with a 48-hour cut off notice, rental assistance with a late notice or eviction notice, prescription assistance, and clothing vouchers.

Builds homes under HUD guidelines through no-interest loans.

Housing assistance and homeless prevention for veterans.

Offers an overnight shelter; utility, food, and clothing assistance; a free meal served at 12:30 on weekdays; and disaster relief.
Clothing vouchers and food baskets are available by appointment only. Call 580-223-6176 to make an appointment. For utility assistance call Monday through Thursday from 10:00am to 12:00pm to complete a screening. Please note that completing a screening does not guarantee assistance. Intake for the shelter is available Monday through Friday from 6:30pm to 7:00pm. Guests must provide a form of photo identification, such as a driver’s license or CDIB card. Expired identification may be accepted if staff are able to verify the individual’s identity. A mugshot may also be accepted for identity verification. Background checks are required for all shelter guests. The shelter does not accept individuals with sex offense or violent offense convictions.

Provides residential and vocational support services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. In addition to the group home in Ardmore, Duncan is home to the administrative office, multiple residential locations, and an array of vocational enterprises.
