Wichita Mountains Prevention Network houses the Carter County Prevention Coalition (CCPC). Provides free lock boxes and medication disposal kits to Carter County Residents. CCPC collaborates with law enforcement to host Prescription Drug Take Back events for proper disposal of medications and Alcohol Compliance Checks (ACCs) to prevent underage alcohol sales. Educational materials are provided on the dangers of misusing substances like alcohol, marijuana, and stimulants to local residents. Call for more information on educational materials, lock boxes, or to get involved in the coalition.

For those seeking help to overcome substance use issues, Chickasaw Nation Recovery Resource Services offers a number of ways to succeed. Recovery support services include assessment services, recovery outpatient services and recovery intensive outpatient services to Chickasaw citizens, First Americans and Chickasaw Nation employees.

Provides individualized behavioral health services that include individual, group and family therapy, case management, peer support, wellness, care coordination, and medication evaluation and management. Specialty services include Medications for Opioid Use Disorder, mental health and drug court, Infant Mental Health and substance use assessments. EMDR trained counselors are available. Naloxone is available free of charge. Accepts most insurances including Medicaid, Medicare, and SoonerCare. Services are available regardless of ability to pay. Clinics also located in Ada, Madill, Durant, Pauls Valley, Seminole, Sulphur and Tishomingo.
